With its modern, stylish design, featuring breathtaking facades and sweeping curves—all skirted in expansive open outdoor areas, while housing bright cavernous facilities to suit meetings both massive and small—the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center is a site to behold. Whether you’re visiting for a convention or simply stepping outside the world’s largest department store just across the street, there is a lot to take in at Busan’s signature venue. Since opening in 2001, BEXCO has stood out as the city’s premier MICE destination and is the heart of Busan’s convention district, known as Centum City. BEXCO is surrounded by a vast selection of hotels, museums and galleries, parks, restaurants, and nightlife, so you never really have to leave the area during your stay. But if you do want to wander, and we suggest that you do, easy access to the Busan subway system and area highways make BEXCO the perfect place from which to begin any journey around the city. In 2012 BEXCO opened the futuristic Exhibition Center 2 and Auditorium. The expansion more than doubled BEXCO’s size, with approximately 30,000 square meters of additional halls and meeting space, all perfect for your MICE events. Don’t forget, BEXCO is located alongside many of Busan’s other landmark tourist and business destinations. The Busan Cinema Center, Shinsegae & Lotte Department Stores, and the Busan Cultural Contents Complex—as well as the Busan Tourism Organization & Busan MICE offices, located in the Centum Science Park— are all within a short walk of the venue.
